During the GOP presidential debate Wednesday night in Mesa, Ariz., the state was brought up during an exchange. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney criticized former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum for his support of an earmark project that was geared for Ketchikan, Alaska (but which was never built). Romney said, "While I was fighting to save the Olympics, you were fighting to save the 'bridge to nowhere," according to Politico Thursday.
