A wonderful opportunity has arisen within a top 5 leveraged finance platform in Asia. My client, a top European investment bank are looking to xperience within leveraged finance. This is a great opportunity to be trained by some of the most respected leveraged talents in the Asian market.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for the origination and structuring of leveraged finance deals done in the HK/China region and be based in the Shanghai office.
• Work will include all aspects of the execution of domestic and cross-border acquisition finance transactions covering: LBOs, corporate acquisition financing and public to private deals.
• You will be required to carry out financial modeling, negotiate legal documents and should be familiar with the credit analysis in order to assist other teams to prepare portfolio reviews.

The Candidate:

• Candidates must be analyst level and have previous leveraged finance experience.
• You must have direct experience working in a leverage finance role and should have a strong deal list.
• Will ideally be familiar with primary/secondary LBOs, recapitalisation, or debt restructuring.
• Good financial modeling skills are a must. You will be required to prepare credit applications and review legal documentation. Will be required to present credit papers to the credit committee.
• Due to the client base, it is a pre requisite to speak Mandarin and English fluently. Ideally, candidates should be very familiar with the China market, but applications from candidates who have not previously worked/had exposure to this market may be considered.
