Summary From Back of Book:
What if every day when you woke up you had no recollection of the days before?
Each night when 16 year-old London Lane goes to sleep, her whole world disappears. In the morning, all that's left is a note telling her about a day she can't remember. The whole scenario doesn't exactly make high school or dating that hot guy whose name she can't seem to recall any easier. But when London starts experiencing disturbing visions she can't make sense of, she realizes it's time to learn a little more about the past she keeps forgetting-before it destroys her future.Part psychological drama, part romance, and part mystery, this thought-provoking novel will inspire readers to consider the what-if's in their own lives and recognize the power they have to control their destinies.
Review: Forgotten is a heart wrenching novel that will keep you thinking after the final turn of the last page. The writing is unique to Cat Patrick and I loved that. I found myself unable to put this book down once I got started and that rarely happens to me. Also I can?t stop thinking about memories and the brain! This whole story had my brain spinning from the first page.
The plot was fast paced, but it still slowed down to create perfect moments! Everything was described with such detail, that you felt like you could be alongside the main character London. Just when I thought I had things figured out the book would shift gears and blow my mind.
I fell in love with London Lane from the first paragraph. She is so relate-able which means a lot to me in the books I read. One of the best things about London is that she doesn?t fit any of the stereotypes which was refreshing. I felt so many emotions towards London and I felt her emotions alongside of her which sounds crazy, I know. This all happened, because of Cat Patrick?s detailed descriptions. Luke was the guy every girl dreams of growing up. Yeah he has his faults but they make him even more perfect. He was kind and gentle and added an extra element to the story. The relationship between London and Luke blew me away, it seemed like it had just started for London forgot him every night, but in reality they had been together for months. It was really something that got me thinking.
Forgotten is a book you should put on your to read lists! I think if you don?t read it your life might not be fully complete. So go read this now!
