Aliens Will Hunt You Down Exclusively on Wii U
CVG confirmed this morning that Killer Freaks From Outer Space, a ?revolutionary new first-person shooter?, is coming exclusively to Nintendo?s Wii U system.? Developed by Ubisoft Montpelier, the game revolves around everyone?s favourite sci-fi theme, alien invasion, and you play as one of the world?s last survivors, making a stand against the evil alien invaders to ?determine who will rule the earth?.
The game will make use of Nintendo?s innovative Wii U Controller.? In at least one of the games? modes, one player will control the main character with the Wii Classic Controller while the other ?dictates enemy play from the Wii U controller screen?.
Ubisoft?France?s Managing Director, Xavier Poix, had nothing but praise for the new control system.? In his statement to CVG, he stated:
When we realized the potential of what Nintendo was offering by creating a tactile controller, we were off and running immediately?having that extra screen in the hand of the player allows us boundless innovation that ultimately gives the player a more beautiful game, a faster game interface, a personalized game experience, and so much more.
There are no other details at the moment, and a release date will probably depend on when Nintendo officially announces a Wii U release date, something which seems to be quite a while off.?
