Kim Kardashian Wedding Song: Which Should She Choose?

Kim Kardashian Wedding Song: Which Should She Choose?

In their rush to plan a wedding, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries remembered to take dance lessons -- but they forgot to pick a wedding song! On Saturday, Kim took the typical Kim Kardashian route to making a decision, asking her 8.5 million Twitter followers to weigh in.

"Ok guys please help!" the reality star tweeted. "We still haven't chosen our 1st dance song! Any suggestions? So many good songs!"

The suggestions, of course, poured in -- including a few from Kim's big sister and bridesmaid Kourtney!

"How about 'ICE ICE BABY?'" Kourtney joked at first. Then she got serious, re-tweeting suggestions for "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain ("Love that!!" Kourtney wrote) and "At Last" by Etta James. (While Kourtney tweeted an emphatic "YES!!" to "At Last," we think that would be more appropriate for her own wedding to Scott Disick -- if it ever happens!)

Other friends had their own recommendations.

"'I will Always Love you' by Whitney Houston written by Dolly Parton," tweeted pal Lisa Rinna. "Such a gorgeous song for a first dance!"

"Break out the love cd I made in 2008," BFF Brittany Gastineau suggested with an "LOL." (An embarrassing mix CD, perhaps?)

Kim thanked her followers the next day, writing, "I am seeing all of your songs for my 1st dance and loving all of the suggestions! You guys are so helpful! Thank you soooo much!" She didn't reveal which songs were on her short list -- although she did mysteriously begin gushing about her love for the Backstreet Boys. (Heck, if she chose "Shape of My Heart," she could probably get them to perform it live for a very reasonable fee!)

According to the website Project Wedding, the most popular "classic" dance songs include "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole, "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Elvis Presley and "It Had to Be You" by Harry Connick Jr. But we wouldn't be surprised to see Kim go with something more modern! Either way, with the wedding on August 20, she'd better start taking a serious look at her iPod.
