Own a piece of Roanoke's Texas Tavern, and help a local non-profit

ROANOKE, Va.?

You could own a piece of the Texas Tavern.

Wednesday, owners of the Roanoke diner announced it's auctioning off memorabilia, to benefit Saint Francis Service Dogs. Old signs and menus will be put up for bid.

Saint Francis raises, trains and places service dogs with people who have disabilities. The group says it usually costs about $25,000 to raise just one dog.

The momentos are up for auction on eBay. Bidding has already started, and bidding will close next Wednesday, August 29th.
